Rheumatism, non-specific infectious polyarthritis, arthralgias and muscle pains, neuralgias, headaches and toothaches, feverish states, premenstrual syndrome.

Renders frank anti-inflammatory, antifever and analgetic action.
5. Posology and Administration
To adults – orally - 500 mg 3-4 times/24 hours. Maximal 24 hours dose is 3 g; a supporting one is 1 g/in 24 hours.

Ulcer of stomach and duodenal, inflammatory diseases of bowels, excessive sensation to mefenamic acid, pregnancy.

Used with caution in coexistent diseases of blood-forming organs and kidneys.

Nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, диарея, pain in abdominal space, anorexia, meteorism, intestinal bleedings, constipation – for the prevention of all those phenomena the drug should be taken after meals. It is recommended to rinse tablets with milk.
General weakness, drowsiness, nervousness, insomnia, vision upsets, albuminaria, allergic reactions (skin itching, hydrops of face, rash). With a long-time use (12 months and more) – hemolytic anemia, decrease of hematocrit, hemodycrasia. With concentration in blood of 100-200 mkg/l and higher – muscle jerkings, convulsions, vomiting.
