The dose should be increased by 10 mg with intervals of not less than a week in accordance with a clinical performance.
In kidney and/or liver failure a recommended dose is 20 mg daily.
For elderly patients a daily dose should not exceed 40 mg.
In order to prevent the development of  “cancellation” syndrome the drug therapy is to be ceased gradually.
It is not recommended to use Paroxetine in children, since the safety and efficiency in this population are not determined.

6. Counter indications

Unauthorized by the attending doctor a simultaneous intake of some other medications, pregnancy; lactation period (breastfeeding); childhood and adolescence up to 18 years of age; hypersensitivity to Paroxetine and other components of the drug.

11. Pregnancy and Lactation
